I will be the gladdest thing                    나 태양아래

Under the sun!                                  나의 자유를 맘껏 누리리!

I will touch a hundred flowers                 모든 걸 다 해 보고 싶어

And not pick one.                               하나도 빠짐없이.

I will look at cliffs and clouds                고난의 세월도 나를 찾겠지

With quiet eyes,                                하지만 나는 알아

Watch the wind bow down the grass,        인생은 울며 절다

And the grass rise.                             다시 일어나는 것이라는 걸

And when lights begin to show                어느 듯 세상의 윤곽이 보이고

Up from the town,                              나의 고지도 드러날 때쯤

I will mark which must be mine,              정녕 내가 있어야 할 곳을 향해

산에서의 오후

난 태양아래 무엇보다
